It's kinda like when I realised that Jenny usually dresses up in cosplay for whatever she's talking about, in that it's a cool touch that doesn't matter but somehow still elevates it

I'm 92, we're 00s kids, but I think there's this weird time perception issue going on because something that happened 10 years ago was "fresh" for us but for people younger than us 10 years is an eternity in terms of cultural relevance.

Like, even tho alot of people would say I'm a 90s kid, the way I look at it is like this: I was a toddler untill 97/98 (I was born near the end of the year) so I was in kindergarten for most of 99. So most of my childhood (that I remember) was firmly in the 2000s.But also clearly definable and segmented "generations" is a silly concept anyway so whatevs I guess lol
