Hol Horse one was pretty fun. An interesting exploration of what other villains who cut ties with the DIO cult were getting into. Not sure I even want to check out Jolyne one. Not only is it ugly as sin, from the little I know of it it sounds porny and weird.

I like Sho Aimoto's artstyle generally, but I stopped reading their other manga because I was getting a consistently weird and horny vibe from it, so I'm not surprised to hear this about the Jolyne oneshot. In fairness though, the anime is making me realize that Stone Ocean is also pretty weird and horny, just in Araki's own way.

I do like how Hol Horse has on paper what is probably one of the most effective stands in a fight but is just a gently caress-up most of the time, and I'm glad we're seeing more of him.

Requiem stands can control the souls of others and are an extreme powerup of the stand itself so emperor requiem would just make it so that hol horse loses his gun and everyone else gets one of these stuck in each of their hands with a trigger tied to every finger e: the barrel would always be aiming at the holder and the bullet would be their own spirit

I'm a huge fan of part 6, but I've yet to watch the anime. How are people feeling about the latter's default pallets? I wasn't in love with the saturated blue/green of the fan scans, but the choice of dark teal/green for Jolyene interested me. Does it work in contrast with the casts' designs in general, or in the alternate shading in dramatic scenes? Does it work in general? I'll watch myself soon, but I'm curious about the opinions of others.

The horny Jolyne one shot was very clearly someone having fun, so even if the end product was uneven I can appreciate it. The Hol Horse side story has an interesting concept but it's presented in the most boring way possible. It reads like a bad fanfiction. Advantage horny Jolyne.
