I've had this big-brained idea for a while to make a falafel patty without the usual herbs but instead an amount of black beans (20% the amount of chickpeas?) and some yeast extract + savory spices for use as a patty replacement in junk food sandwiches I keep feeling like the recipe just isn't there yet but dammit I gotta just try and fail a few times or it's never gonna get there!!

Industrialsafety.com delivered my new respirator. The tracking number for the shipment was emailed to me an hour after it arrived. It contained only the respirator, in an unsealed bag, and not the three pack of filters that were also in the order. Industrialsafety.com blows, I ordered the same stuff from rshughes.com last night so lets see how they do.

friend’s dad in hospice care tested positive sometime around the end of January, had cold like symptoms but was doing ok and due to return to his normal room tomorrow friend gets a call first thing this morning that his o2 has plummeted and he probably won’t make it through the night, “no ICU availability in the state” this is all so hosed
