honestly, I can't get mad at tweets like that if they're bringing attention to movies' shot compositions, blocking, and editing. movies have a visual language that is totally unique within the visual arts, and I'll listen to a bad analysis of a movie's form ten times over before I'll sit through a take on a movie's themes or cultural importance or whatever the gently caress
