You may be waiting a while... the bassist Elijah passed away in 2020, and they have no plans of recording or even playing live shows. Sucks.

Previously I've really only been to outdoor concert venues where I wasn't close enough to the stage to be concerned about decibel level hearing loss stuff. I'm hoping to catch Nightwish and Epica this year at indoor venues and I'm wondering if people here might have hearing protection they recommend versus me just googling and buying top results or whatever.

Ghost is one of those bands where I have to listen to new songs a few times before they 'click'. Almost every song on the album got the reaction "What the hell is this?" from me the first time I heard them but after a few rounds I started grooving with them.

The same thing happened to me with Infestissumam - I didn't like it as much as Meliora or Prequelle at first but eventually some of those songs became my favorites.
