I played this like a month ago and stopped playing after beating most of the levels. Have they made a ton of changes to the game since then? Because I've been reading the posts on this page and have no idea what you guys are referencing in most of them  Anyway, is there something you can do to improve the chances of getting high value chests or is it completely random? I feel like my chests almost never give me really good loot, whereas it happened all the time when I watched a streamer playing this

Wow, pentagram really puts in work. I evolved it and grabbed some other things and by minute 23 I was just standing around waiting for the pentagram to go off and grab the gems for me. I only had to move to avoid the level boss and then grab some chests.

If you aren’t in afk mode collecting coins and chickens when you feel like it by about 20:00 then you are doing it wrong.

I have the Luck powerup maxed out, play on Hyper mode, and regularly take the clover, and even with all that I barely get any 3 chests, and sometimes don't get any 5 chests at all.

Just put an extremely fun build together to get the Survive The Bone Zone achievement. Started with the new arcana that triggers gold fever off of picking up gold bags + makes gold heal you, then at level 11 picked up the one that causes healing to do damage to enemies in an AOE. When you're in fever mode, dealing damage to enemies give you gold, which procs the heal, which procs more damage, and so on. It's like a build-your-own evolved garlic except it also synergizes extremely well with the actual evolved garlic. Finished the stage with over 40k gold (and I did not use the cats!)

How do you get more Arcana? I've gotten two so far, the healing one (which is a godsend) and the slash one that enables crits on bladed weapons. I thought it would require more tower runs but I picked up one randomly from a chest and now I'm just

I used the gold healing Arcana and it was pretty great in the Bone Zone. I even almost won if not for my absolutely awful choices of weapons and arcana rng. If I had gotten la borra and cats then it would had been an auto win.

I also hope we get another weapon that synergizes with the explosion one (I think among the current selection the mine cart would be a good candidate) because it's really fun but pointless outside of the fire wand.

10/20 Minutes Till Dawn seems like a lot fun, though I wouldn't quite classify it as a VS-like for the sole reason that you play it using two control vectors. I'll probably still buy it when it comes out, though! The only thing I like about Beautiful Mystic Survivors is that its whip analogue can be aimed in any direction. Other than that, it's just a clunkier, hornier version of Vampire Survivors at the moment.

The big notable one is that legendary weapons get +2 from amount and pierce rolls while everything below gets just +1. There's UI for passives but they're not in the demo. There's also a version of the game sold as "sexy mystic survivors" with outright porn and a different pair of characters in the demo.
