the shirt that always got me the most engagement was my OG superjoint ritual shirt that i got from a roadie because i was 19 and showed up with a shirt that said in giant font RAP SUCKS. the roadie stopped me and offered me $20 and the shirt for the shirt off my back because according to him "pepper keenen would think its hilarious" that shirt went to potentially 50+ shows until a drunk guy at Harpos just lurched out of the pit, grabbed it and just yanked as hard as he could, ripping it. i still have it and have considered framing it or something as a memento of my teenage and early 20s boozing years
