That entire interview is gold. The full Scion TC story lol. It just keeps getting worse and worse.

Also, I love how nothing is ever his fault, but his explanation for why never makes any sense.

quote:

Probably the funniest thing Stone did on the show was leave in the middle of the night, claiming he needed a good rest, on his first night as Angela’s simulated co-parent. Stone said that the crew of The Rehearsal gave him the impression that the robotic baby’s cries wouldn’t be as loud or as frequent as they ended up being in the show.

This too lol

quote:

All in all, Stone is frustrated that The Rehearsal cut his appearance down to only the “douchey” things he said and did. But he isn’t sure that he would have done or said anything differently. Even his comment to Fielderabout wanting to sleep with Angela even though she is celibate, which he acknowledged came across as crass, was something he could justify.

“I could just tell. I mean, I'm very good with women,” he said. “I could just tell she was into me like that. So that’s why I even said that.”

Really the whole thing reads like "I am mad about this show doing an extremely accurate depiction of me, now let me prove it to you that I am exactly the guy you saw on screen" lol.

So, Harvey, what became of the giant penny?

They actually let him keep it.
I think the interviewer may have been Nathan with a fake mustache. It's absolutely brutal to read.

quote:

He said that he felt tension between himself and Fielder when he got into a fight with his roommate, saying that he was “literally about to beat his rear end.”

“He probably didn’t want people to see that,” he said.
I kind of doubt this happened the way he says, because it seems like incredible content to not put in the show.

I was about to beat his rear end, which is why I let him drive my car immediately after.

Everyone of these people is exactly as they are portrayed.
Ironically, only Nathan is vastly different, since he has adapted a public persona for his everyday life.

I mean that guy is probably pretty mental, especially as we've seen things like his brothers tweets and that interview. But lol just lol if you don't realise that at the end of the day this is still highly edited reality TV and doesn't portray everyone exactly as they are.

Scion TC Robin is absolutely getting his own reality show in the next two years. He's the living equivalent of the Calvin and Hobbes cartoon about two trains and an airplane about to collide at a spot that happens to have a gas leak.

The craziest part of that interview is the bit where it says he and Angela are still talking and think they're meant to be together lol.

Even crazier when you realize people like this represent like 25% of the population in this country.

I think he will set up the bar as his rehearsal base and literally live in the house raising the progressively older kid with Angela for an entire year while simultaneously shooting the “real” version of the show. Sort of like Review in which the job and home life are dangerously intertwined.

I hope.

I love Review, a nathanverse version of that escalation would be pretty incredible but maybe a bit too over the top, as absurd as that feels to say?

Damnit. I specifically avoid watching shows until the entire season wraps up for this specific reason. I thought that they were all going to be self contained. That said....love the setup here. Hope that future episodes are longer than this. Was too much of a tease.
