I appreciate the answers about FWC but are they still considered to be part of Stars now or did they leave?

Thanks. From reading the past 6 pages or so it seems like there have been some people moving around and I'm trying to get it all straight in my head

Hazuki and Koguma were rookies together. Koguma left in 2015. Last time she had appeared was at Hazuki's retirement ceremony in 2019. Koguma came back to STARDOM as surprise entrant in the ranbo (Royal Rumble type match) at the 10th Anniversary last year. A few months later, she joined full time. Mayu recruited her for STARS. Hazuki came back later that year and Koguma was her first match. Koguma then asked her to join STARS. The story was that Hazuki, who'd been a heel for so long, was an odd fit, but that she would be a babyface "in my own way". She's still slightly heelish and a strict sensei, but she doesn't cheat or have a bad attitude or anything like that.

Speaking of Hazuki, she's running away with her block so far. Not who I would have picked with my limited knowledge of Stardom and I assume she'll collapse in the back half, but at the rate she's going it's going to be hard for anyone to catch her.

Putting together a GDT for today's shows and I saw this on Dramatic DDTquote:Hikari Noa will be coming back to Japan empty handed. She lost to Alex Windsor on last night’s EVE show preventing her from becoming a two time International Princess Champion. Windsor has some unfinished business going on in EVE so it will be a while before she can be seen in Tokyo Joshi Pro. However TJPW are continuing their relationship with EVE by sending over Miyu Yamashita and Hyper Misao to their annual “WRESTLE QUEENDOM” show in November. Yamashita’s match for that day is against Millie McKenzie. In return EVE is sending Rhia O’Reilly & Nightshade, aka The Uprising to Japan sometime in the future. The two of them are expecting to get a Princess Tag Team Titles match once they come over. Are The Uprising any good? Never heard of them before but the only European wrestling i've watched recently is the odd wXw show

Of all the foreign talent TJPW has had over in the past, Nightshade is definitely the one who seemed to get along with the roster the most. I bet they'll be happy to have her back

Thought she was good in her first go around in 2019; the two year enforced break doesn't seem to have hurt her in-ring. Rhea had a serious knee injury a few years ago and notably has worked a very particular sort of heel work since; I assume to cover for that a bit. Hopefully they don't do that in TJPW because is sort of sucks. Below spoilers are for the 5 Star GP: my block maths following todays show. Blue Stars: Tall Saya is in control of her destiny despite being second in the block: if she wins out then she wins the block, and as she has the tiebreaker over Hazuki she has two matches over her. The Sohrei loss hurts Hazuki quite a bit - her remaining matches are Mayu, Iida and Watanabe so while she'll beat Iida the other two are tougher and I think setting up Momo being the spoiler. Giulia is also on 2 losses and is set to wrestle Kamitani so I think is in a stronger position than Hazuki at this point. Hanan is the only person in the block mathematically eliminated and I think she'll end on 0 points; Iida and Watanabe both have 5 losses so in effect are eliminated as even though its mathematically possible you can't win from 14 points and that's all they can mathematically get - Natsupoi therefore is also virtually eliminated if she loses another match or if Hazuki wins another one. You've got a few people who've not had that many matches (Suzu 0-3, Mina 2-3, Kid 3-3) and so as they have most of their matches backloaded things will form up. Red Stars: AZM is in control of her destiny; if she wins out she wins the block (Tam also only has two losses; but AZM has the tiebreaker already: she'd beat Utami and Sera who're on 2 losses on the way). Kohgo is mathematically eliminated - she can still get to 10 after the upset over Kashima but there's a Maika-Himeka match on the final night so one of them has to have at least 11 points by the end of the tournament as DCOs/DDQs are one point each. Realistically Saki Kashima's loss to Kohgo eliminated her as while this block is a lot more open its highly unlikely that 14 points isn't enough to win the block - and that means that Syuri, Mai, Unagi, Himeka (who is tied as block leader) and Koguma can't afford another loss realistically. Similar to Red Stars you've got a few people with a bunch of matches left (Sera 3-2, SAKI 2-3, Unagi 1-4) which means that actual point numbers isn't really the thing to look at; its how many matches people have lost and how many matches they have left.

Yeah unfortunately it's just another thing to be on the lookout for. Maika tweeted out recently that she's had to deal with some toxic bullshit online and has been having to block people, and I don't doubt many joshi have some crazies that they have to deal with/be careful of to some degree. I remember CyberFight had to put out some statements on all of their Twitter accounts a few months ago about possible legal action against those who want to slander their organization or staff, because Kamiyu and Nao were getting harassment from some weirdo that Stardom fans knew as a crazy person with incidents before, and I know that a few other joshi have very little public social media interaction because of harassment. I believe Kamiyu has also mentioned this is one of the reasons why she made her OnlyFans page; so she could be able to have positive interactions with fans and not have to deal with all the dipshits. As a whole, I don't see a lot of creators accepting packages or whatever anymore because of the fear of getting tracked, or at least not without a lot of scrutiny before taking it home from their PO box. Before, it would just be worrying that some weirdo sent something gross or illegal, but now they have to factor personal safety/security in to their decision to accept anything from strangers. LockPickingLawyer, for example, no longer accepts sealed packages because someone sent a tracker hidden in a package to his PO box. He fortunately caught it at the post office, but that ruined it for everyone else. He mentions it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xUJtqvYDnkg&t=17s HamburgerTownUSA fucked around with this message at 10:57 on Sep 10, 2022 |

Her Goddess of Stardom run with Konami in 2019 was cool, if you have Stardom World then watch this, Tokyo Cyber Squad of Konami & Jungle Kyona vs QQ, Momo & Utami and vs Arisa Hoshiki for the Wonder of Stardom title (unrelated sidenote, the show this is from also had Saya Kamitani's proper Stardom debut. Amazing how good she's gotten in such a short amount of time. Obviously she's been on hiatus but she did wrestle at the Hana Memorial Show this year, against Kyoko Kimura & it was very good
