I got it and played a bunch. It’s good fun and definitely a big improvement over the PS3 version. Feels a lot more fast and fluid with more options and a lot more opportunities to pull off combos than in the original.

ASB was always fun, just probably not if you want something that's going to compete for an evo slot. A version of it that runs and looks better with a few more characters is always going to be fun too. Treat it as a fanservice ride, basically.

If you're on PC you can just use this mod to revert the name changes (ie Cool Ice back to Vanilla Ice). As far as I know it doesn't trip EAC.secretly best girl posted:- I do not recall offhand if the stone mask characters were locked down like they are in this new game (if someone is playing as a vampire, roughly half the stages in the game can't be played on for sun reasons... cool for lore but boy you're stuck with a lot of early series arenas as a result) If you complete the big centerpiece fight for an associated part in ASB mode, you unlock the ability to use that group of vamps in the day stages. ie If you finish Part 1 you can use Dio Brando in all arenas and if you finish the first of the two Part 2 sections you unlock that for Kars. Sometimes I remember that Joseph was married to 2 of the pillar men. Then I remember that they asked Kars if he wanted to use his wedding ring too and he said no. When Kars removed his head covering, he was not wearing any ring piercings to hold an antidote in. There are at least 3 very different and equally likely ways to read that.
