there is probably a un godly amount of dependency between the hardware/network and software so that everything is carefully tuned and that it “just works” there were hints about running old custom kernels and operating systems and like im sure there groups of people trying to upgrade those things but finding roadblocks. but yea…. just lift it up and put it in the cloud. also plz spend 16 hours a day doing this thing where most of the working knowledge just walked out the door
