A few years back Patton Oswalt had a pretty good routine about hearing the phrase "I'm going to fill you up with my goof juice" in a porn film. When he performed it live, he delivered it in a pitch-perfect, horrifying pervert-clown voice. For the recorded CD version, he reverted to using his standard "Southern dumb guy" voice. For whatever reason, I always heard the Future Devil's voice as that former voice; it's probably the perpetual "DOO HOO HOO HOOO" expression on his face that did it. Plus I always thought the Future Devil's body language (in the manga) when Aki stuck his face in his stomach was rather sexual, but maybe that's just me. "Future Devil as pervert voyeur" really seems like it would have been the best angle to take on the character. But like the Oswalt routine, it ended up with a safer, and more generically wacky, delivery that could only disappoint, and the body language was just goofy flailing. Good episode still!

Heads up, apparently someone posted astoundingly accurate spoilers for this chapter and the next two on 4chan. I saw a screenshot (which I won't link here) that dates the post to a few days ago, and only read the spoilers for 114 to see how accurate they were, which was very accurate. It's possible it's a photoshop with info gained from the new chapter to make fake predictions more believable, but figured I'd warn folks that there may be spoilers abound.

I know we were prepped to hate the fake Chainsaw Man from the beginning (if nothing else due to the fact he's a fake), but it's incredible how quickly that last page makes him turn the corner from "Eh, this guy's probably a weasel" to "Wow, what a prick."

I could very easily see Asa getting to the point where she's ready to turn Denji into a weapon, then tries and nothing happens. She then shouts OKAY I'M READY TO TURN HIM INTO A WEAPON NOW, GIVE ME YORU BACK and Fami just fuckin laughs at her while Denji is like "wait, do what with me now?" and possibly even catches on to what's happening.

I wonder if Famine's power is being able to take away anything. Trapped Asa by taking away their exit, and also took away Yoru's consciousness. Famine revived Yuko by bending the rule and taking away her weakness or something. Feels very fujimoto imho
