I don't see the problem. Lead in your blood just makes you more resistance to radiation fallout.

I'm convinced there is too much lead in the drinking water in the US. I mean your infrastructure is is barely hanging on by a thread, I doubt city works is replacing piping in a timely manner. Would explain a lot.

Spinz posted:Is it really those of us that are as young as 50 that are affected I thought this was more of a Boomer thing the main exposure was through car exhaust. the US phased out leaded gasoline from the mid 80s through mid 90s anyone alive in the 80s and living anywhere near roads was exposed, and the longer you were alive before then the more you accumulated these days to get that kind of exposure you have to spend a lot of time at gun ranges e: also, living near roads wasn’t the only way leaded gas got you, produce grown near highways also accumulated lead and got into the food supply. this continued to be a danger with imported food long after the US banned it. for example, tea from china sometimes had lead levels high enough that a cup per day would exceed safety thresholds. Unfortunatly the idea probably doesn't hold much water. There is a correlation between violence and use of leaded fuels in the US but the same correlation never existed in other countries despite the existed of leaded fuels there too. Still good we don't use lead in everything anymore but boomers being boomers isn't lead related.

Lead exposure makes your IQ drop and makes you more prone to violent outbursts Microplastics and forever chemicals make you infertile ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ what are you gonna do. I guess that's the price of a modern society with infinite VR porn and not dying from cavities or sabertooth tigers

Back in the day people burned their garbage every week. When my dad had free time as a kid he would play in the trash out the back of an asbestos factory and when he left school he got a job as an auto painter and worked with lead paints and all those now banned solvents like carbon tet, at the age of 67 he looks and acts like he is 96.
