lol sorry it's a bit difficult if you don't play a lot of custom wads prolly. I intend to implement difficulties but for now it's Ultraviolence only, I'll make something more low key this week. Glad youre enjoying though, save frequently and you'll get through it, I believe in you.

EDIT: For those of you who don't know, pressing Ctrl+F9 in Ultimate Doom Builder will instantly open up the game for testing, but it'll spawn you either at the location of your mouse cursor in 2D mode, or your camera in 3D mode. i've been playing the Alkaline mod for quake, which i've never actually played, even tho i've played a fair number of maps that use the textures and enemies and poo poo. it got a big update w/ like 7 new maps a few weeks ago. very good up there with stuff like arcane dimensions and dwell. thank you quame. check it out d00ts https://www.slipseer.com/index.php?resources/alkaline.62/

I liked and completed OG Painkiller back in 2005/06, but that one mission on the bridge, where the only way to get the bonus tarot card was to find all secrets was one thing but to have one of those secrets be a trial-and-error "hey ho let's make the player bunny-hop along a slippery frozen ledge the width of a credit card, and hope they don't randomly slip and fall off it at any point" fuckfest that would have Lara Croft herself say "nope, I'm sitting this one out" was some bullshit

everyone's favorite wad reviewer youtube person "Dean of Doom" released a video about this wad Nostalgia today https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/levels/doom2/Ports/megawads/nostalgia and it looked interesting so i watched a bit but then decided to download and play it. so far its extremely easy and vanilla [uses only stock textures afaik], but the maps are nice and there's been a couple good fights. i finished like 11 maps in like an hour so its pretty lowkey. in the readme the author says their maps are meant to be short and easy, and hell its living up to their promise so far. anyway if you want to play some short, slightly harder than doom 2 iwad but not as hard as plutonia [yet whom knows whatll happen latter folks], czech it out. you can also play spot the reference with the map names since their all metal songs. whoa. 3 maps with titles from mr. bungles smash hit california.
