For the most part it's probably not worth the hassle when they're using public domain characters already and clearly on such a shoestring budget, especially when the production is likely some obscure country it'd be a pain in the rear end to perform legal action in, and on top of that a good chance it just gives the knockoffs more publicity.

They actually made a second Aladdin sequel that also functions as a grand finale for the animated series featuring Aladdin's dad as the King of Thieves. It's apparently pretty good. Robin Williams comes back as the Genie. (Dan Castanella played him in the cartoon)

Yeah, it was, but I assumed that was Pizzolatto being petty about Cary getting all the credit. I guess people he’s worked with say, aside from him being a huge creep, he’s a massive rear end in a top hat to staff and only treats the actors well
