wait so they made a joke where they made live action turn to puppet hands for close ups in the same way that for the original, puppet hands turn into real hands for close ups, right? and only fans that remember the distinction would get the joke? i don't really understand what you don't like. are you saying it would've been better if they'd kept live action hands for the closeup because then it would've been closer to a 1:1 reproduction of the original? i think i disagree on that
