The bottom six and goaltending probably needs to be upgraded at some point this year, and Brendan Smith can't be a regular on this team deep into the season. Winnipeg is going to have a pretty decent team when Vilardi gets back. With the emerge of Perfetti they have a good group of forwards. Like not a Cup contender or anything but they should get back in the playoffs with some comfort I think. That Dubois trade might be one of those rare ones that works out well for both teams, although I'm not convinced LA needed to make it.

I don't understand at all how they went from absolute trash to second in the Atlantic. Feels like just the other day I was watching them play like garbage against Toronto in person. I guess I broke the curse? They're 7-1-1 since I went to the game.
