I've done such a 180 on Rush since he debuted. I used to think he was a weird little angry guy who didn't sell. Now I think he's a weird little angry guy who sells sometimes but he also has a certain intensity and hits real hard. Now I look forward to him. He's so wet in this promo, god drat.

I don’t know if he felt like it was his chance to step into that spot or something else, but it felt like something suddenly clicked and he got so much more interesting. Better selling, more interesting matches, just felt like a guy who belonged rather than just another guy on the roster. I was proudly, and sadly, on the “LET’S GO ROOOOSH” side of the dueling chants last night.

Definitely. I think Rush saw his chance to shine and took it. It was definitely the Jungle Boy match that made me go, "Jesus Christ, this guy is intense" snd after that I respected him way more and wanted more. Just like after Jack Perry's match with HOOK, I wanted more of that Jack Perry, just the right amount of intensity. Just like how I think Julia, Skye Blue, Stat, Toni, Emi, Shida, etc have improved the women's division recently. When they put some intensity into things, that catches my attention way quicker.

Rush seems very well rounded as a wrestler, he can do big moves and high speed stuff, he knows how to do the theatrics both in ring and in promos and the like, he is very much a guy for whom it all has started to click.
