the badass old men aren't in the same age range, though. the survivors of roger's time are a full generation younger. that's why it worked so well when brook called big mom 'young lady'. then there's the five elders. i guess they could be of similar age? if they are human at all, that is.

Kureha is old enough to be Brook's grandma and all things considered she could very well be so. The most notable thing about questioning the Elder Stars' ages is that from the chronologically earliest we've seen them, they've both had the same lineup and looked exactly the same which is curious considering most of them have looked older than hell for nearly 40 years.
