Swear to God my neighbors just throw their trash bags in the building hallway and then wait for the handyman to come in and take them outside because they can't be bothered to walk around the building and put it in the bins out back. I read through Happiness by Shuzo Oshimi (of The Flowers of Evil fame). I was letdown by it a bit. I was devasted by Flowers when I read it 12 or so years ago, but there were only hints of something similar here. Part of that may be me growing older, but I think it's just a weaker work.
