I got a copy of Storefront Theatre: All Night at the Bizarre Art literally minutes before it sold, and now I'm watching the number of copies of Storefront Theatre: All Night at the PO-NO dwindle by the minute and trying to figure out if I would regret missing it.

I've managed to chew through two discs of Po-No. It's not as interesting as I thought it'd be, but there are little moments. One notable scene has a huge and most certainly unlicensed use of Paul Simon's "She Loves Me Like a Rock" for several minutes. And another is a brilliant (if desperately in need of an editing) parody of the old Cal Worthington commercials. If you don't mind long stretches of loving and it's cheap I'd say get it.

Kino Lorber just updated their schedule. High Noon UHD coming April 16, Cry-Baby UHD coming April 30. Both Dolby Vision 4K restorations from the camera negatives. IIRC, Cry-Baby was done with John Waters' involvement and should include the director's cut.

I opted for the paperbacks, since I like the translated sound effects on the page and the lightweight floppiness. But definitely cool to have options.checkplease posted:How is the Akira manga? I think about getting it sometimes as the movie is just the first book? I haven't read it yet, but I hear good things! I've heard the movie covers about 2 of the 6 books. Since the movie's conflict is so climactic I look forward to seeing how this works as a longer bigger thing that goes differently.

Oh man, can anyone with the 4k warriors release help me out? Just put the theatrical cut in my player and the audio is way out of sync with the video, by at least a second or two. I can't find anything online about this being a known issue but I haven't had it with my other movies. Edit: jk started messing with my whole setup and after unplugging the hdmi and putting it back in everything is working again. Never saw that before. I basically bought the set just for Predator 2 and even just for that I felt it was well worth it. That Predator 2 UHD is probably one of my favorites in my collection, I usually watch it every year.
