I actually think it's just that in the next frames her expression isn't important, so it got a generic blank smiling face while we focus on the mechanic. But it's more fun incorporate it into the story.

OK, so I kind of know the origin of beep-boop as computer sounds, because that's literally the sounds you'd get from the first generation of industrial computers, high tone and low tone to alert operators. Is ga and pii the same, low tone and high tone? Pii I can see, but ga doesn't sound right for it. Maybe a drive motor for paper output?

A dog sound being lost to the sands of time is fine by me. But the sound a computer makes is something someone decided within living memory. There's an answer, I'm just not equipped to find it.

Yes, this is especially common amongst things that have mascots, they all have cutesy onomatopoeia for the sound a toaster makes, or a penguin, or a train, or a bunch of other loving crazy things like jellyfish and alien invaders.

Very strong episode 6. Lt. Mishima new favorite. Nice to see some more regular mech drivers that can hold their own. Sherry also very neat. Really needed more candidates for the Bravern side in SRW. goddamn, when Superbia going all 'decepticon tune noises ga ga pi' when turning into the jet. "his voice is so hot" lol Miyu is great. And everyone in the background just looking at eachother. "Holy poo poo" is right, Smith. lol @ how the hell did Lulu get out of sight when they were all like holding onto her before he took off. Not sure if an random area bombardment would actually have helped clear the area of baddies anyway due to how the shields work, so Bravern controlling them to target them specifically makes much more sense. Oh man, that Ax + missile combo was SICK. Makes a lot of sense why they didn't say anything before, because Braven just looks like one of the enemies patrolling. Hell yea, time to use THE THING. Hi-jacking the missiles is insanely OP. Could extend to just everything, if the enemy had that tech, the Allied Force would get stomped even harder than they were. Hell yea, Get in the robot Lulu.

Definitely can believe we're still en route to Smith (plus Lulu) getting Superbia. Got an extremely rival-turned-ally design.

I'm more and more convinced that Bravern is actually a robot weeb for Earth Culture and the other Deathdrivers dont take him seriously because he's their planet's equivalent of the kid with a trench coat and a katana .

So do the robots just use humans as living SP batteries or what, because Lulu clearly wasn't aware in her time in Superbia or she'd A know who Bravern is and B be scared of him. Since neither of these is true we have to assume the human passengers on the Deathdrivers serves some kind of mascot or other unknowable morale function, perhaps parallel processing or supporting a soul or something. I'm thinking this Superbia is a backup which is why it doesn't remember Bravern either, or the handy trouncing it received at his hands.
