haro is the "how far does being funny take you" wildcard that jerid was last year* vs garrod round 1 is a real softball though, and with his next opponent being either kou or bernie (0080 characters i'm pretty sure did awful last year, and no one likes kou) the true test will be when haro has to go up against the winner of sayla vs judau *this was the funniest poo poo ever and i'm sad we saw jerid get eliminated round 1 instead of a repeat

They got feedback, they found the leaks, and they can, in theory, release a version that has all the things people responded positively to while minimizing the things people didn't like, see if there's anything there or if even an optimized version is a loser. With so much money invested, spending a tiny bit more to see if the whole thing is a disaster or just needed a little work isn't insane. That said, Bandai's made a lot of decisions that confused me recently, so one more isn't too much of a surprise.
