It's amazing how densely packed the panels are in kengan while baki uses an entire chapter to show a sumo wrestler putting up his hair. And somehow they're both great.

It reminds me of Tokyo Ghoul with how many players there are. It’s great but I hope it doesn’t get too crazy… I’m already not great remembering so many names. I am curious though, is Baki better in manga or anime?

baki turning into The Imagination Wars will always be the funniest poo poo to me, it rules I'd say it's about equal in the manga/anime split. I really want another verison of Omega where the worm is exclusively that one Yan and Xia and they wind up being taken out much earlier in the story. Shen would just be a really strong chinese fighter entering into the japanese underground looking for a good fight and being a mentor/brother to Ryuki and the gang. Because all the baki nonsense that followed Shen takes away from him just being a chill dude whose interactions with the cast I enjoy. No Wave posted:The TL group that was doing kengan suddenly stopped uploading at some point (when the series was still very hot) and they said a bunch of confusing stuff about not being able to explain why for now. Eventually it came out they were doing the official EN translation. So this tweet basically gives an explanation as to how that happened. This was a while back maybe even during Ashura. That tweet itself is confusing I wasnt even aware of the existence of Comikey back then but now Comikey is the one done by the former fan translators and has been for a while. Oh, that's all that they were taking about? Yeah, I remember all that stuff going down back when Ashura was being translated.
