There’s some theory that when you’re with a group of people and you laugh and look at someone, that’s the person you care about the most. In whatever way that means. So like growing up when the family was watching the Simpson my dad and j would always laugh and look at each other. Anyway we’ve never laughed harder at something we were watching than tbat scene where they were fighting over tic tacs.

the trial itself is to his political benefit, it's only the penalty phase that can have actual negative consequences for him

Every interview is its own adventure. Nailed this one and now the next will involve diving into my industry rolodex and potentially building a mock business development proposal. I got some homework to do...

Android Apocalypse posted:I am such a basic bitch and will get Starbucks for breakfast, especially if it's after a morning hike like today. Hey, sometimes Starbucks hits the spot. My fiancée had a job interview at 7 (!!!) this morning, the kids had to be at school at 7:30 and 7:50, respectively, and then I had to zip back over to the other side of town to get my fiancée from her interview to the other side of town to a doctor appointment, which thankfully was in the same building in which she works. So, basically, I was going from 5:30 a.m. and stuff didn't settle down until 8:45 a.m. You're goddamn right I went to Starbucks for the biggest goddamn vanilla latte they had before I went back home to start work, because I was running on two hours of sleep. I even went for the full-sugar flavor syrup, diabetes be damned.

I really enjoyed Joe Abercrombies series. The inquisitor was my favourite throughout.

Well I'd say most fantasy from the 80's back featured women who were either a girlboss or wanton slut, sometimes both. Or maybe that's just Sprague de Camp?

Its actually pretty good on the whole in terms of that kind of thing. Most of the violence is pretty light and not overly gritty. Put it this way it wouldn't get worse than a 15+ rating and I doubt even the most ardent weirdo from the book barn who has a meltdown if a woman gets a paper cut in a book wouldn't have many issues. Its just not super deep or changing the genre much. Especially compared to like the Abercrombies or the Eriksons

Got the papers on the Seth Rogen show at the Hollywood Bowl tonight, bunch of solid comedians in addition to the billed acts. Special guests: Post Malone did 6 songs, also there was 30 surprise mins out of Bill Burr. Snoop came out and did all the Dre Era hits. Good show, highlight of the night was post show, getting the bike jitney back into Hollywood to avoid the Uber wait + banter as we zipped by all the steerage class filth using their (ugh) legs to move a few blocks away from the venue. Sad!
