I sense someone talking about... GUNDAM!

dogsicle posted:

it's super conditional and kinda subtle, like the other guy said. but the base idea of letting you keep maneuverability while still giving equip weight an impact (reduced stamina regen) is something i really like, and hope they implement more strongly in later games.

I think I still prefer having multiple levels of agility rather than loading up the heaviest armour possible and still being able to dance around elegantly. It promotes variety in builds whereas one consistent agility level would just change it to stamina management.

I wonder if there's anybody out there who deliberately uses the fat roll. The trade off doesn't seem worth it.

I think I know what you're talking about, I've had it at the bottom of my SNES backlog for a while now.

well the point would be you could still do a moderate/fast roll or run, but it would take much more stamina. so rather than totally neuter heavyweight builds' movement, you instead have a trade-off where you can roll etc but not do much else following it. i think both of them give a good sense of weight, just in different ways (and i like the latter more).

though i dunno if heavy stuff already eats a ton of stamina or not, since i will probably never do a heavy build.

It's been so long since I had to get a SNES emulator. Is ZSNES or SNES9x better nowadays?
