i went to the bagel shop this morning and i got three everything bagels and three onion bagels and a thing of scallion cream cheese. its not a new bagel place, it has been around for many years though it is across the street from where it used to be. i had one of the onion bagels already and it was good. thus concludes my bagel report.

The bag did indeed contain bagels. A bunch of plain, some poppy, two zaatar, three cheese. I had a taste of the Zataar one. Pretty tasty. The plain bagels are destined for dinner, lox, cream cheese, capers. Onions would be good too but I'm lazy.

My toaster has a special bagel setting so that it toasts one side at a higher temp. A few weeks ago my GF stayed the night and offered to toast a bagel for me, and guess what? She put them in the wrong direction and totally burnt the bagel outsides while the bagel insides were barely even warmed. I was so pissed. I think I might dump her now cause it's been the only thing on my mind for weeks.

Fun fact, even if you didn’t get conned into paying $300 for your toaster oven, you still have a bagel setting. Just move the rack to the highest position and toast normally. Enjoy.
