I'll also be a Steelers fan next week, but I doubt the Pats are able to gently caress up as much as they did this week, they got it out of their system in the game that they pretty much automatically win.

Onside kick reward: You get the ball and only need to go a short ways for a FG. Lots of time too. Long kick risk: You give up 10% chance to get the ball. Long kick reward: You don't have to go as far if you force a punt. Also better chance for a punt return from your All Pro returner. I mean it almost worked. If the Steelers had to punt, Chiefs would have had a good shot. There is no scoring risk from the Steelers so it is all about field position. Maybe Andy knows his offense can't march all the way down the field if Pitt pinned them deep.
