This sucked. They should have a couple different rideshare points imo. Maybe main event and cabelas or something.

Yeah, I feel like the crowd comes in wanting spot fests but bite hard on the southern wrestling. They'll be fine.

I also think Page will be fine the second he works with someone one on one who's not Jericho. Dudes great but he's also 48, really slow, and not as athletic as he used to be. His strength these days is character work, weapons, and fuckery. That title match was pretty shallow on all 3. It's not all Jericho's fault but Page will look a lot better when he works with other people. Also when he actually connects with the SSP.

Okada barely could and that thing was full of smoke and mirrors, they shouldn't of expected Page and Jericho to put on a good straight wrestling match.

not barely in any way, it was a great match because okada is not adam page and not exceedingly mediocre

Jericho was good. Imo Page got off on the wrong foot - if PAC had come through and done the job he would have started in a much better position than he was having won the AEW ARMBAR. The only thing ppl truly responded to in the build was the stitch ripping.

But on paper they’re doing builds to PPV in a sensible way; lower profile guys like CIMA and Page get wins in the lead up to doing the job for higher card guys. It doesn’t add a ton of uncertainty, but it’s still good practice.

I'm still working on a new name for AEW ratings, but for now...

quote:

just continue to use #BOOTY but it's in honor of sonny kiss instead of the new day

AEW ALL OUT 2019 LIVE ATTENDANCE #BOOTY RATINGS (more #BOOTY, more fun!)

It's been a while, so let me explain the rating system. This is an evaluation of how much I enjoyed the match and if I recommend a viewing. This is purely subjective and is not a numeric evaluation of the match.

#BOOTY - Must watch
#BOOT - Should watch
#BOO - Not bad, watch it if it interests you
#BO - Not recommended

(There is also #JOJO if the match exceeds the scale, but like Meltzer's 5-stars there needs to be no doubt in my mind that it deserves it. For example, that one botch in the ladder match kept it from #JOJO.)

Women's Casino Battle Royale: #BOO
Private Party v Angelico and Jack Evans: #BOOT
SCU v Jurassic Express: #BOOTY
PAC v Omega: #BOOT
Cracker Barrel Clash: #BOOTY
Dark Order v Best Friends: #BOO
Riho v Shida: #BOO
Cody v Shawn Spears: #BOOT
Lucha Brothers v Young Bucks: #BOOTY
Jericho v Hangman: #BOO

I really enjoyed the opening six-man, PAC vs Omega, the Cracker Barrel match and the ladder tag match. The main event was fine, but a main event should be more than fine and that's the second time that an AEW show has ended with a decent Jericho match that ends with Jericho winning. It's especially disappointing since they've been using Cody, their other big name who isn't that great as a modern main event wrestler, perfectly.

Not only does this invite the mocking comparisons to WCW and TNA that AEW should be trying to avoid, but it also means that I'll have to sit through another 30-minute Jericho main event, when that's been my least favorite part of these shows.

I'm almost certain Jericho is champ to snag long lapsed WWE fans into watching the tv program. Which is fine because I honestly couldn't care less who's champ as long as Kenny can keep having loving amazing matches and the tag division is still the best in the world.

Jericho is champ for this reason. He gives AEW legitimacy right off the bat. Making him the first AEW champion gives the belt immediate prestige to fans who left wrestling but wouldn't mind coming back.

I didn't agree with some of the winners but was fine with most of it but that one I thought was the one booking that really was a mistake. the crowd was so into them and when they lost you could hear the deflated air come out of the building. the pop if they had won after a ridiculous luchasauraus move or series of moves would have been so good. I hope luchasauraus and jungle boy go far in the tag tournament (might be too early for them to win the titles thou?)

Honestly the Luchasaurus bit that ended with the standing moonsault should have been the finish. I shot out of my seat and was screaming and couldn't even hear myself. The roof would have blown off if he got the 3.

I think JR even mentioned how hot the crowd was and how that should have been it.
