And those things that look like holes with gratings in the side walls aren't enough ventilation?

No. The shed will fill up with exhaust fumes, carbon monoxide among them.

A system that "never needs maintenance" is actually a system that is just not maintainable.

Home prices are inflated by about 100% and when the crash comes it will be apocalyptic.

As a mathematician, I have no idea what 15÷3(5) is. I don’t think there’s any agreement about how it associates. Some guy made it up and for some reason it gained a lot of traction in textbooks.

Anyway, nails: good or bad?

Depends on whether you're using cut nails or string nails, where in the piece you are, and how you feel about drilling pilot holes.

AHA! Trick question. You always drill pilot holes.

Vertical load works out the same whether you have a continuous web going over a dowel or whether you have two lines deadending on an eye. The dowel will be stronger, ofc, but you can just use a big eye.

They were half right, the overhead wires are supposed to feed into the meter via a mast and not just directly attached to the house and fed into the box like that. Or at least that's certainly the code around here, there is so much wrong in that photo it's hard to tell if they just don't know, don't care, or don't have code to follow...

There's a weatherhead above the meter. I won't put money on it without looking at it myself, but I bet the boxes next to the meter are a solar controller and backfeed cutotff switch.
