The blue glow is a feature, not a bug

Pillbug
For those of us who carry powerhouses for no real reason.

Common Mobile Workstations:

Dell Precision Series

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dell_Precision#Precision_Mobile_Thin_&_light_XPS_leverage

Probably the most common of powerhouse mobile workstations, current generation includes Intel Xeon Mobile CPUs, MXM III A/B slots, Thunderbolt 3/USB-C
Dell is notable in being one of the few companies that gives you a manual showing how to completely teardown the laptop to the motherboard, and will next day you parts if you are in warranty.

HP Elitebook Series

HP's answer to the Dell Precision, very good build quality and also has access to a lot of the same advanced features.

IBM/Lenovo P (previously W) Series

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ThinkPad_W_Series

quote:

The ThinkPad W Series laptops from Lenovo are described by the manufacturer as being "mobile workstations",[1] and suit that description by being physically on the larger side of the laptop spectrum, with screens ranging from 15" to 17" in size. Most W-series laptops offer high-end quad-core Intel processors with an integrated GPU as well as an Nvidia Quadro discrete GPU, utilizing Nvidia Optimus to switch between the two GPUs as required. Notable exceptions are the W500, which has ATI FireGL integrated workstation-class graphics, and the W550s, which is an Ultrabook-specification laptop with only a dual-core processor. The W Series laptops offer ISV certifications from various vendors such as Adobe Systems and Autodesk for CAD and 3D modeling software.

The W Series laptops were introduced by Lenovo as workstation-class laptops with their own letter designation, a descendent of prior T Series models suffixed with 'p'.[2] The W Series laptops were launched in 2008, at the same time as the Intel Centrino 2, marking an overhaul of Lenovo’s product lineup.[2] The first two W Series laptops introduced were the W500 and the W700.

Thanks to Carry On Then for pointing out its now the P Series.

Noteable for being one of the few laptops to ever implement a dual screen setup. I'm not up to date on the current W series offered by Lenovo

Cool, thanks!

....I wonder if an MXM Nvidia GPU out of a P Series will work in the M7510 I have, apparently someone got it running in a M6700

How much heat dissipation? ALL OF IT.

Surprised they didn't just go the Asus route of having a detachable radiator for watercooling.
