Hmm. On one hand we have this unknown guy with swords who claims he killed dozen men in town square for a good reason.

On other hand a respected the local Pornwizard and the village leader's daughter both accuse him for slaughtering the people in cold blood.

Who do the villagers believe?

It was mostly good which makes it extra frustrating.

:yeah:

I recently finished Season 2 and anything related to Geralt and Ciri were mostly great and everything else was mostly not good.
Even characters became more interesting based on their distance to main story.
Triss was such a bore for 1,5 seasons, became interesting for 2 episodes in Kaer Morhen
and then went back to being waste of screentime.
It felt like there were 2 teams running the show. One for the Cavills Geralts adventures, second for everything else.

That’s not what the wish was about.

This is word for word my experience with the show as well. Season 1 was decent. Season 2 had decent moments with a lot of lovely narrative choices and I hopped off the train as soon as Cavill announced his departure. I have yet to see season 3.

Same.
It is like the show was two different series stapled together.
Adventures of Geralt of Rivia and ... the rest of the show.
First one was great and rest was mostly trash.
