I'm not expecting crowds to be cheering just yet but this still marks a welcome step on the road to normalcy. it's a major new japan show of a normal card length and undiluted by any split shows. power struggle was never an "A" show and this is pretty stacked for one even by pre pandemic standadrs. it's about strongest card they could reasonably book given the injuries to naito and ibuhgi plus gaijin understandably not wanting to deal with quarantine it's a sold out show in what's probably been the city that's drawn the liveliest crowds since COVID so atmosphere should be about as good as it can given restrictions. It's a very strong card but I feel there's no way Okada or Shingo lose so i'm choosing to watch the D-Oh card happening at the same time instead and catch this later. Curse these companies that don't coordinate their shows for my convenience
