Alpha 2 is my favorite SF game. 3 is good as well. The first Alpha game seems unfinished though.

you could also unlock HYPER street fighter alpha, which was basically mugen and let you play as any version of a character from all the alpha games and had wacky bonus ISM's that let you play the game like it was darkstalkers or third strike
