also rares are shared loot anyways cross-faction so if you are an alliance and a horde jumps in you both get loot and don't even have to share it

the world boss is an individual roll to see if you win a mount invincible drops one and you have to win it or watch the master looter ninja it

Still I see they're reducing some former 100% drop mounts to 1% which is kinda stupid since MMos are endless treadmills. It's like who cares if someone gets old thing, the top players will always have new thing. No need to cripple old content.
