Anony Mouse posted:The create mode is the best it has ever been and I can't wait to dig in once I unlock more prizes. I am sad that the LBP3 community seems to be slow on the uptake, I remember LBP2 being much more prolific right off the bat. I hope it picks up steam in the future because creating and playing community levels has always been the highlight for me. There has been a lot of bad press about the game, which has no doubt contributed. There used to be a game breaking bug which forced you to have to restart the game, a lot of people are unable to get their DLC from LBP1 and 2, and some people (including me) have serious issues with playing the game whilst online, even if PSN isn't on its arse. Just see any LBP3 posts on Facebook and the mass of negative "fix this poo poo" comments under them. On top of that, it's quite short and still a full price game. I think once they have sorted out the bugs, and it goes on sale, we should start seeing more community creations. It's a shame, I really love the game, and I think the level design of the main "adventure" levels is excellent. There's a lot of creativity in the game.

Are there any level designs that might be against some ToS? I want to make a casino themed level with gambling minigames like slots, roulette, and video poker, but I don't want to run afoul of some kind of "don't make these kinds of levels" clause. Also, what's the best way to get together with other LBP-playing goons? I just completely wiped my PSN friends list and I'm looking to populate it with people I can party with for LBP3. My PSN ID is belross, add me!

I played a community level in LBP1 or 2 where you got eaten and digested by a guy and literally poo poo out of his rear end next to some poop. You're probably fine.

Sent you a request (psn JeffTMBG). Dragon Age is taking most of my time these days but I still hop into this game to browse a few community levels every couple of days.

Wow, so I guess online play is just completely broken? I tried a couple of dozen times to join public games on adventure and community levels with no success.

PSN has been a mess so that could have to do with it. I think this game is also really sensitive to NAT issues so if you're not one of the good NAT types or they're not, it's not going to work.

I've read a lot of reports that online play is impossible unless they're on your friends list.
