Best Story: Allarion Runner up was Chas McGill who doesn't win because I dislike stories written in the present tense. Best Narrator: The Wildest rear end Runner up was Namtab's comforting British cadence.

Wow, did not expect to actually win after more people put up stories. Mostly wrote it for fun since the idea took root and I felt compelled to add more details beyond the reveal since spooky goon den is fun. Not completely satisfied with what I put out, but nice to write something again after not doing it for years. I even thought about putting in a figurine that said oniichan like Chas did which one of the couple knocked over but couldn't quite insert it in smoothly so I dropped it. Chas can have my prize since I'm still attached to my current avatar.
