Okay, I seriously want to read these.

The Three Investigators are solid books. I spent many years of my young adult life reading them. The fact that Alfred Hitchcock is a minor character who pops in every so often made them even better.

They have a base in a junkyard with multiple secret entrances and exits. They've also got a bully I think.

They also ride around in a chauffeured Rolls Royce limo thanks to Jupe winning a contest and pointing out that 30 days of use could be interpreted as 720 hours of usage. The chauffeur is also kind of like their Alfred.

you can actually inflate your scrote pretty safely with sterile saline, syringes, needles, and aseptic technique. its a niche kink iirc

the saline just slowly gets absorbed into your blood but in the meantime you got a big round smooth distended nutsack

bridge to terebithia more or less made me a goth

Yeah, that was The Mountain of Adventure, I think.

It's true that Enid Blyton was pretty racist. Not so much the Adventure series, but some of her books for toddlers had characters called Golliwogs that have to be seen to be believed. I don't know if that kind of thing was normal in England in the 1950s or not.

high five, I posted these guys earlier. But I always assumed they were just a cheap knockoff of Hardy Boys, but I liked them more.

They rock as hard as 1960s-ish teen mystery-solving teams can.

They might be. They don't have the branding of Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew, but their stories always appealed to me.

poo poo...I might just go back and read some of them again.

Might be worth it. I remember also reading the late '80s series too. This cover image may or may not have prompted an early sexual awakening and a later penchant for gangfuck porn:

Came here to post about these. I read a bunch, and I think I liked them, but I for the life of me cannot remember a word of any of them. They were just the only decent thing when the school forced us to pick stuff from their god awful library.

They also had those Oz books where it was all the other stories about the dullahan queen and the princess that was a boy or something. And also a novelization of the X-men.

That's such a 1980s cover, and just amazing. It's also begging for a XXX parody

I'm so happy that more people remember these, and that they enjoyed them.
