You know I kind of wish they'd gone a little nuts repainting the sets. The one thing that the show is missing from the current movie cosmic vibe is color. Everything looks like a dull gray warehouse. Some real pastel bright blues and reds mixed into the background sets would do WONDERS for everything visually.

Yeah I love Ragnarok for showing that it's not just the Guardians, space in the MCU is just very 70s space opera bright and goofy.

Why did I watch all 8 episodes of this garbage?

I could have spent my time wiser, like trying to figure out the plot of Japanese porn or seeing how many nails I could pound into my hand.

Has Marvel or the showrunners said anything about this turd since it aired? Like an official announcement that it won't be coming back, or maybe a formal apology to America?

Yeah, I was really hoping for an AoS swerve. Maybe the guys stuck in the tunnel revolt of their own or something. Instead I got one set of villains taking out a shittier cillain who would've been dealt with by his own people soon enough anyways. Why didn't they choose to either thrive on the fish out of water stuff or excise it? Why didn't they have Maximus get the power to make everyone human around him, keeping your budget low and also not making him have to repeat everything Black Bolt signs because Blackgar can't learn ASL? Why are the Royal Family, ostensibly thw good guys, all garbage racist? Why did Maximus think that a 1400 population divided city, most of whom are civillians, could take any earth town? My lovely backwater town has a population double that? Why does Triton exist? Why didn't probability guy use his powers wisely instead of only using them for limp martial arts? Why doesnt Gorgon do anything? Why was Mordis feared? He got bodied by everyone and was h knestly hosed over by the lovely system that our racist main characters are defending? Why did no one tell Maximus to wash his hair?

I watched the whole series, including going to the IMAX event. Even the parts that weren't bad were just....meh.

I watched all 8 and don't regret it, because it was a masterclass in what not to do. In pretty much every area of production. The "Paint It Black" scene alone is such an absolute misfire...it's basically the whole show in a microcosm. Here's this big, stylistically overwrought showdown that's clearly intended to be hugely significant, but is absolutely weightless and irrelevant in every way. Two characters you don't know, whose opposition is barely understood, come head-to-head in an utterly toothless battle that nobody cares about, but it's filled with these flourishes that tell us This Is A Big Deal. It's the Red Wedding, if you didn't know any of the characters and had zero sense of how it affected anyone else.

I bring news from the superior Marvel show thread that at least Lockjaw is coming back, in https://news.marvel.com/tv/81626/marvel-to-launch-new-animation-franchise-marvel-rising/ And I only made it through episode 4 or so of Inhumans. Went out to watch Thor on a Friday night, missing that week's episode's broadcast, and never worked up the motivation to catch back up. From reading these last few posts I'm guessing I didn't miss much.

I'll say one positive thing about Inhumans, at least they weren't afraid to make everyone look like their comics counterparts and not shy away from the crazier powers.

I don't think Triton particularly looked like himself other than being green. And also he was gone for 90% of the show so that they wouldn't have to muster even that little effort.

Me, Episode 1: Wow they're doing a really good job with Medusa's hair, I'll actually buy that effect and it's kind of neat Me, Episode 2: sure just shave it right off immediately to start the show, why not
