What I imagine when they say to let everything through is it means some kind of bizarre unilateral customs union where the UK accepts goods from EU without custom checks but not the other way around. Not sure how that fits into hard brexit and taking back control.

The polls would indicate that the clusterfuck that is brexit is infinity more important to the general population, and that after all of this vote rigging Facebook stuff they are hyper sensitive to being played. This really is an example of Tory incompetence, they had something that could have been utterly enormous during an election campaign, and yet they didn’t sit on it till then. When is it reaching it’s peak? Silly season at least a year away from a GE. First week back in September when the brexit debates and votes start again then all of this will mean naught. Meenwhile Labour are sitting nice and quiet like on top of a massive pile of evidence that the Tory party are islamaphobic, and that won’t be pissing off a tiny minority of voters.
