I know flat numbers per season is probably easier to keep track of, but being able to front-load an old dude's deal is a really handy way of keeping yourself cap flexible, while retaining their tradability if they drop off a cliff. You can, but extreme contracts are limited a bit (the "owner objects" is the mechanic). This might be a great idea with Big Tuna's contract expiring in a few years...

Who are you going to trade to provide salary relief and restock the farm? It seems like that point is coming up. Also, are there any huge differences between this version of OotP and last year's? I'd like to do a world league with all fake teams and players that's as equitable/competitive as possible, so the newest rosters don't mean anything to me. I just like the idea of having French, Brazilian, Australian, Indiana etcetera players rather than just US/Canada, Hispanic America and a bit of east Asia.
