At this point, I'm surprised that they're not just rebooting the franchise and going "back to the roots of the series." (Also, that would suck. I don't want to watch a movie that is just about fast cars. I want superhero spectacle).

I don't think they're getting rid of him since the series is still making money but they are going to be tighter with the purse strings and definitely less accommodating to Vin's whims.

The downgrade from Wan to Leterrier pretty much killed any interest I had in this franchise. I’ll watch the rest because I’m a pig, not because I like them.

Still think it is very funny how they introduced a villain specifically going after friends and family without thinking about how to write around Brian's absence. Like you know you have a character that can't be used but is ostensibly still around so maybe don't do that.

Instead of going after family the villain should have attacked the supply of Corona. This would have an equal threat level for Dom and avoided the Brian issue.

There are too many characters, too many switching sides, too many coming back from the dead, to keep track of them all. I couldn't figure out why Hobbes wasn't in it. Even while watching the movie I couldn't figure out why characters were fighting (first Han and Jason Statham, then the two girls). Apparently Diogo was in a previous movie, which makes it sad that he died..i guess?
