Take a picture and show what you're trying to remove? Assuming it's similar to my '13 CR-V (different generation but the CR-V doesn't change that much over time), there should be just two bolts holding the caliper onto the caliper bracket, and once you have the caliper free the pads can be removed. If poo poo is corroded to hell it may very well require a pry bar.

Also worn discs get a lip on them that makes it impossible to just "slip off" the caliper with the pads without forcibly backign things off a bit further using leverage.

Yep, the inner pad was fused to the disc. All done! With that wheel anyway. Sun went down so will do next 3 over the next few days.

The only thing you can really hurt is the rotor face which sounds like you probably needed new rotors anyway.

Good: only took 24 min per tire to change pads this time Bad: very uneven wear in read pads. :iaam: also check engine light back on
