I lost 80 lbs by getting more exercise (walking a LOT) and counting calories. I ran 3 miles in about 36 minutes. It's not fast, but it's way better than I expected. I did a pull up! First time in like 25 years. Almost did 2. (USER WAS PUT ON PROBATION FOR THIS POST)

I joined a bike co-op, learned to work on bikes, and built a bike up from the frame using parts bin components. And I never quite hit my goal of a 50km ride, but I'm proud to have even gotten this close.  (USER WAS PUT ON PROBATION FOR THIS POST)

After obsessing about being in shape for bike racing the past 30 years, I finally dialed it back and started hiking. The high point was a 4 day hike, 45 miles, over the entire length of the Transcatalina Trail. This was also the first time I ever slept outside in a tent and sleeping bag. We used a gear haul service, but in 2022 we plan to do some actually hikes where we carry our own gear. I am soooking forward to it. Hit me! (USER WAS PUT ON PROBATION FOR THIS POST)
