Oh, goodness. Radioactivity. The most random and chaotic of mechanics. I typically avoided it given the game doesn't operate with that much RNG on the usual, but if everything was going downhill and it was around, might as well open the can of worms.
Yeah as I mentioned it get hilarious/horrible when an enemy suddenly gains a "on death, deal 18 piercing damage to everything within 2 squares" negative trait...That said most negative traits are bad for them and that card does cycle, so it isn't a dead draw.

We are going to see it in action in the next update!

Today we visit the delightful Throne of Stench! We also give the B-Team some primetime, so get ready for the smell of roasted Troglodytes. I've added a small TSR History section at the end of the video about Trogs in classic D&D as well. Enjoy!

Now that the B-Team is on par with the A-Team, I'll try to mix things up a bit!

As an aside, I've dropped an upgrade for Waluigi!

To replace his old staff:

Deadly Spark is a 1 for 1 upgrade over Devastating Spark (+1 damage, same range, hits in a Line up to 5 squares); both staves have 2 Sparks; and Bungled Bolt is a sidegrade over Unstable Bolt (-1 damage, +2 range, both have a neglibile drawback).

Ah, good old Deadly Spark. When you can get 'em lined up, you can make 'em regret it. Good damage and helps deal with enemies with annoying armor.

Today we commit some light breaking and entering with a side of murder, while we try to recover the Compass of Xorr from Lord Stafford's castle!

Are we bad enough dudes to save the President brave the Sanctum of Melvelous the Magnificent? Yes.

This is easily one of my favourite modules in the whole game. To celebrate, I've decided to spruce up the video thumbnail a bit. I may go back and redo the previous ones as well now that I've been touched by the fabulous Hand of Melvelous.

Is Lord Stafford guilty of some heinous crime? We hope so. Because today, he dies! Note: this is totally unrelated to his treasure.

Ps: there is a small desync issue with the audio queue at the start of the third battle. Apologies for that! I'll fix it asap.

Only the groggiest of the grognards can try and stop us, because today we're going straight to the top in the Cardstock Playoff Qualifiers! And since we're talking about serious business, stick around at the end of the episode for another TSR History section - this time on the original D&D Championships!

Ah, Cardstock. Truly the most venerable tournament for hunters of cards. It's always interesting when the game throws you up against more player-like opponents, the dynamic is a good bit different. I wasn't much of a PvP person in this game, but I did find them to be fun mixups.

I hate them with a passion, especially Lightning Imps. I lost count how many times I forgot about Jump Back always being in their hand when I finally manage to close distance on a melee character after they've teleported around half the map.

Terrain cards are just so good... except against hovering foes, or foes with endless movement cards. Shame they keep the AOE ones until pretty late, but it's only fair as the AI is extremely bad at handling them.

Surprised the oozes' attacks don't damage your hands in general. Some of them can damage armor cards, but you'd think more of their attacks, and even armor, would work to delete your hand to emulate the corrosive effect of hitting a pile of mobile acid.

There are a few "target discards the/the two oldest cards" (and, in fact, they are great Armor removals) but yeah player options are more limited in scope - either it's a non-damaging attack, or it discards a specific type of card (like blocks).

There were some skeletons too! But yeah, this is a bit of a miss, imo, especially since it's only 2 battles, without a very strong theme (aside from Woodhome > Undeads) and with a terrible reward :v:

It would probably be much more difficult to handle with a melee focused party due to the exploding Zombies, but then again, so are most Adventures.
