The last OP won't stop closing the thread every other day. What is the legal barrier before someone is considered unfit to operate alone financially? Who generally takes control of people's assets? This breakdown has me thinking a lot about Brittney Spears and how that went.

I doubt Kanye has the same legal arrangements that Spears had that let her parents / managers or whatever control everything. A lot of her finances and income would have had to go through someone who was 18 since she was under 18 at least when she got big. Although I'm no expert on that poo poo. Kanye likely has full control over his assets and there's no reason anyone should take control of it because he's lost his poo poo. Also this is a timely skit, somehow from 13 years ago... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0RMdwA8GWB8
