I like that desk. I'm looking for a desk myself, something real basic/minimal but not lovely/cheap, contemporary but not gaudy, glass top preferred. Where'd you get that and for how much?

All four seakers are Polk Audio RTi4's and a CSi3 Center, I also have a Polk PSW111 mini subwoofer under the metro racks you can just see it. Small room, small sub.

The glass table you can get at Office Depot for around $135.00. I believe it's called the Onyx or Matrix desk?

Well, compared to the lovely headset mics that most people use, a PG58 is pretty drat fancy. I use one myself for skype and general goofiness, does the trick just fine. If I were serious about recording I'd grab a large-diaphragm condenser mic, though.

Bitchin' CRT projector, Moe. They don't make 'em like that anymore. CRT is excellent for standard-def stuff, too bad it's so drat bulky and power-hungry.

I already have one picked out, it's a Audio-Technica AT3035. Not for serious recording but just because I think the shock mount is cool.

Kenwood VR-606 5.1 Receiver

Super Nintendo
Sega Saturn
Cyberhome DVD Player

I'm planning on replacing the receiver with a new Sony STR-DG910 and I'm deciding whether or not to put a HTPC back out there. I'm also going to replace the lovely DVD player with either a decent up converting DVD player or a HD-DVD or Blu-Ray player. I'm using the 360 to stream music and video from my main computer right now.

Cool, just checking. I love my 910, but if I ever break out the classic-gaming hardware again, it's all going straight into the TV over S-vid.

Harmon Kardon CP60 kit +2 extra speakers for full 7.1
Harmon Kardon DVD with 1080i upscaling (not shown here)
New Xbox 360 elite (not shown will edit in more pics later)
New 40 GB PS3
Wii Hidden off to the side being all ninja-ish since the white doesn't match the black/silver theme I've got goin.
Comcast DVR/HD box
High end APC HT model (cant remember number exactly)
46" Vivitech LCD
Omni speaker stands

The PS3 is done with HDMI/Optical Audio
I cant make the elite 360 work with HDMI which is fine I'm using component HD cables for it with optical audio as well.

The coolest part is my wife actually bought and paid for the entire surround set-up. However I talked the sales-people down off the entire system 200$ and got them to throw in 2 more speakers for the full 7.1 experience. she also helped with all the wiring and set-up. Full replacement plans on EVERYTHING. We ahve a boxer who is goofy as hell and likes wires. she got 2 wired xbox controllers in under 20 seconds. So now everything I use is wireless.

Rent this space!
Well compare my pictures from the first post to these. I decided to quit the PC poo poo because that was just expensive keeping up with the hardware to play the latest games.

Equipment:
TV - Hitachi 32LD7200 - I took the speakers off the side and detached it from the motorised stand.
Amp - Onkyo TX-SR605B - people seem to be raving about this in the other forum and it was only £350.
Speakers - Kef Q5 - stereo only for now.
Other - V+ Box (hdmi), XBox 360 (component), Sony Vaio VGN-FE11S (VGA, mini jack to phono)

I enjoy all of this from my bed, which I use as sort of a sofa.

My DIY BAMTMs (that's a Dell 20" for comparison). Sure, they dominate the desk, but they sound great.

My sealed 12" Dayton HF. Cleanest bass I've ever heard, but I can still knock stuff off the walls. It's amazing.

The speakers are amped with the Behringer A500 (kind of pictured above), which is a great deal. $200 for about 180 watts per channel (they advertise 230 per, but independent testing puts it lower. Still great.)

Kind of in the picture is yet another DIY piece, the AV stand. It's built out of threaded rod and MDF, but I like the modern/industrial look, and is the sturdiest piece of furniture I've ever had. I could throw it across the room (well, if it didn't weigh a shitload) and it would just bounce.
