Couple of Spring Mixes - the first is a headphones type of mix, with deep prog and tech house and some breaks. The second is more of a no nonsense progressive trancer. Wanted to do a trance mix since its an underrepresented genre here (for a good reason), and I was pleasantly surprised to find a load of quality tracks released over the last couple months. hello, it's been a while that i wanted to make my own trance mix that's similar to the guestmixes that dj's recorded for asot 400 and such. well, i finally got my hand on some software and after spending some time learning how to make a mix i came up with my first mix (45 mins). i basically put some of my favorite tracks and mixed them together in such a way that i liked the sound. my goal was to create maximum impact and flow, something that would really shake the floor at an afterhours. sorry, but the volume isn't mastered (i don't know how to do it yet) and i know that some (most?) of the transitions aren't as smooth as a real dj would make, but i don't have any hardware and the software eq knobs are sorta hard to use with a touchpad lol! anyway, pls let me know what u guys think. btw this isn't uplifiting, at least i don't think it is. also, afaik it's not cheese. untitled6test1.mp3

I need some advice on using a USB hub for Djing. I currently only have 2 usb ports on my computer and they are both used by my external with all my music and my usb mixer. Im purchasing the Traktor Kontrol X1 to get more control over my sets and am wondering how using a USB hub will affect my performance and which is the best. Im looking for something that will give me the best speed and power. Any recommendations?

A bit random, but can anyone remember a mix that was posted that was dubstep/dnb, was hosted on a mix blog a good while ago. I'm sure it was posted in this thread, searching through but can't find it. It had a sample from diary of the dead half way through, no matter how many times I drunkenly try to find it to show to others I can't, any help would be amazing!
