You see: all those blows Ippo took are not as dangerous because he was hit *HARD* which does nothing in boxing. Ippo, being a more experienced boxer, knows that small, dinky body blows are a much more effective anti-monkey countermeasures. That has always been his strategy. (Man, Ippo sucks so much nowadays.)

Well, that's certainly an interesting way to represent the ankle giving out. Ippo still hasn't really done anything to Woli this fight. (I refuse to believe those touches did anything) Sigh. exciting, worth the wait.

It really takes balls to have a fight that lasts for 5 months, consist of nothing but a one-sided beating of the protagonist and than having the protagonist win, not out of skill or anything, but due to dumb luck. Calling it now, Ippo`s final fight will consist of ippo getting his rear end kicked for a year but not dying due to his samurai spirit. You guys should switch over to Garouden. Fun, easy read during the downtime of HnI. Sure, it lacks the plot and depth that HnI once had, but, god drat, these fights... they're spectacular! Also, bitches like Woli would be chewed up in the first few chapters. Jesus, I looked at the date stamps of these chapters with this drat Woli fight. This poo poo's been going on since September. Even Bleach in it's slow-as-gently caress glory didn't feel this drawn out over the past 6 months.

Its based on a series of novels by some author, only the art is by the Baki guy. Its a lot more realistic although still has the oddly proportioned bodies.

Muscle porn, that's actually a good way to put it. As I keep reading fighting manga, it is amazing to me how replaceable "fight" and "gently caress" seem to be. Garouden and Baki weird me out, artist likes his muscleboys wayyy too much. Shamo has been recommended before, but I'll add another vote, main character is more of an rear end in a top hat than Sawamura.

890 Raw is up. gently caress YES. Ippo finally nailing the rear end in a top hat. Ippo nails Woli's guard again, sending him against the ropes. Seems Woli's mouth is cut up, judging by the blood. Ippo tries a big swing, but Woli counters. Almost immediately, Ippo performs an uppercut which literally lifts Woli off the god drat ground. Chapter ends with Woli entering a slugging match with Ippo, and Miguel going gently caress NOOOO D:< Also, I am pretty sure Takamura is pissed off because Mister Genius is losing to the "commoner"  All the zoom-in to the organs is odd, though.
