Posting this to see if there is any interest. I'm looking to trade my ibanez sr400qm bass. I've owned it for about 4 or 5 months and I am looking for a passive bass. Something like a classic vibe or fender bass. I can get pictures if anyone is interested but it is basically this guitar: http://bass-guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Ibanez-SR400QM-Soundgear-Electric-Bass-?sku=511825 In the trans lavender color. I would prefer to do local so as to not deal with shipping but if someone is interested I would consider shipping. If anyone is interested you can just post here or email me at rabrown.mail AT gmail dot com.

Click here for the full 737x1024 image. Up for sale is my Mr. Squishy. I really like this compressor, it's transparent and feels just right -- for me, it's just enough compression to keep things under control without sounding too compressed. I'll definitely buy this one again later on. It's undamaged and with no scratchy/loose pots. Check out bongo's review of it if you'd like: http://www.ovnilab.com/reviews/squishy.shtml Comes with the pouch thing and instruction sheet. I don't have the original box, but it will be packed well. The price is 70 + shipping in the Continental US, through Paypal. Not interested in any trades this time. Thanks!

I still have a Rig Kontrol 3 in good shape that I'm selling for $125. If shipping is high I'll split it with you. Rig Kontrol 3 now works as a general MIDI controller over its USB 2.0 cable thanks to an upgrade in 2009 to NI's Controller Editor software. So even if you don't have Guitar Rig, it's got two very clean, quality DIs adjustable for instrument or line level input (with a switch), and individual preamp level adjustment for each. It has eight switches which can be configured any way you want them (e.g. momentary, hold, whatever), plus an expression pedal and a switch activated by the expression pedal, wah-style. It has two expansion jacks for switch or expression pedals. It has TRS balanced outputs, with a switch that goes between normal and loud output (helps if you have less sensitive monitoring, or if your operating system wants to choke its volume output - volume level is controlled in software). It also has a separate headphone output with adjustable level. I've used it alone to drive my Sennheiser HD-650s, which are about as high of impedance cans as you'll realistically encounter. Its headphone amp isn't exactly magical, but it's perfectly fine to monitor quietly with. In addition to all those functions, it also has a MIDI interface, one in, one out. $125 seems like a steal for this, since the hardware itself cost more than twice that new last time I checked. I bought it with Guitar Rig 3 as the "Kontrol Edition" bundle, which at the time cost over $450. One thing about it: it doesn't like cheap patch cables. It was made to use balanced outputs and it really is best to use balanced TRS cables with it. With cheapo mono patch cables, it can get a hum or buzz if they're positioned incorrectly. I have another Rig Kontrol unit that does the same thing, but I'm still not certain it's supposed to be like that. So it could be a flaw in the unit. Still, I don't know why you'd buy a quality audio interface with control and run garbage cables with it. Maybe 'cause you're broke and in college (that's why I know it has that issue ). Let me know if you're interested.

I have a Gretsch Special Jet in Black that I'm trying to sell/trade. Better quality than the Junior Jet. Thumbnail inlays instead of dot. It's Chinese made, so a new set of tuners is a good idea. Only other issue it has are a few nicks and the neck can't pass the kleenex test, but all that takes is the right file to clean them up. I don't have access to pics at the moment. They're hosted on my FB and I am at work and can't access that site from here. I'm considering putting it up on eBay. Well, I have been, even went so far to make a video for it, just never got around to it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ndQ5S6jRw8 I'd like 300$ shipped for it. Definitely interested in trades. I need a new guitar amp that's giggable. Guitars welcome, especially those with p90s. Don't need another bass but if you have something interesting, I'm interested. Send me a PM. I can provide references for doing business. I've traded on vinyl forums, I run a record label and mail order out of my bedroom, tons of positive eBay feedback, etc. Guitar sounds great! Just a few cosmetic issues, really.

Hey all, So, I'm getting married and need to offload some gear quick for cash. If the items are purchased in a package then we can work something out. First off is an Allen&Heath Xone:02 scratch mixer. http://www.xone.co.uk/02/ It has been hella upgraded, with a ProX-Fade as the Crossfader and 2 P&G faders as the line faders (it comes stock with one P&G as the CF and 2 cheap Alpha faders as the Line Faders). There is some wear on the cf markings, and the knobs have been upgraded with some metal-looking knobs (and I can include the original knobs as well). Price is $275. (This is pretty firm due to the major upgrades in the faders) Next up is an M-Audio Torq package. It only comes with 1.1, though you can get the 1.5 upgrade for $50. Comes with 4 records-2 are new, 2 are a bit worn. Because of the upgrade cost, the price is only $115. http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/TorqConectivVinylCDPack.html Next is 2 Ortofon Concord Pro-S needles. Price is $115 for the pair (that is well over half off new). This includes 3 new needles and 2 slightly worn needles. Shipping will be reasonable-I can ship with my work discount. Please no out of USA shipping-with that sort of thing it becomes way too pricey. Help me get married in style! edit: ...I think I have to keep this after all... This is my Jaguar Bass stripped, sanded down and ready to be sprayed. The body has not been sealed. It's a DIY kit! This is one bass -- I didn't purchase the neck and body separately. It's all ready for you to refinish! Comes with all the original chrome, screws, tuners, pickups, switches, preamp, "ID tag" and hex wrench. I also kept the pots after desoldering them, just in case. The neck is nice and straight. There's a small scuff mark on the back of it, however you have to be looking and cannot even feel it. There is a small ding on the inside of the rear curve of the body which is pictured. It will disappear through a little sanding or possibly using the steam trick to raise it out. I believe it will have no impact on the final finish. The headstock has been painted black, but needs a bit of touching up around the edge and a final coat if you desire to keep it black -- otherwise just sand it back down, no problem. The pickguard will either need sanding or a coat of black. I had some problems with the paint at the final moment and so was unable to apply the final coats, which is why I sanded them back to near-done. The reason they're black is because I was going to reproduce the look of Thurston Moore's green Jazzmaster; I think a trans green would look nice on this. Click here for the full 1024x768 image. Here is the ding on the curve. Click here for the full 1024x768 image. This is the edge that needs touching up, which should be nothing. Sorry for the blurriness, but it's not that easy to see from a distance and my camera sucks at macro. About the "goodies"... Free set of Fender nickel-plated steel rounds, .45-.105 I have the original Jaguar bridge, but it is currently mounted on another bass. I also have a brand-new Gotoh 201 bridge. Please specify which bridge you want. SUPA BONUS DEAL! I have a brand-spankin'-new pair of Dimarzio Model J pickups, creme covers. They will most likely fit under the Jag's black covers as well, but I haven't even opened them aside from the case. I bought these for $95. You can have these with the bass for an additional $50. If not, I'll sell them alone for $70. I am asking $430 shipped within the continental US and through Paypal, so if you want the Model Js as well, it'll be $480. I don't have a hard case to give you, but I'll pack it in enough bubble wrap to stop small arms fire. Thank you! Sarah Cenia fucked around with this message at 09:01 on Jul 22, 2010 |

I have a really solid G&L Legacy Tribute. Has a really amazing neck and fretboard. Great action. Got three springs on the trem right now. Has it set just right. Has a Seymour Duncan Hot Rail in the neck position. Also has a coil tap pull on the volume knob that is currently unhooked. Never needed it. Everything else is stock. Stays in tune, plays well. Lightly gigged. I would love to trade it for a Fender Strat or something with P90s in it. Preferably semi hollow. I wanna start using swappable pickguards on a strat, and with the G&L, I'd have to have them all custom made every time, and that gets a little expensive. :P Would sell, but only at the right price. Comes with deluxe G&L gig bag. Thing has a freaking coat hanger tucked into it! eMail me: white rabbit white rabbit at g mail dot com I do not have any feedback on this forum, but I can provide links to my eBay account which is 100% positive.
